And the winners are...

....Sussie with the blogg Granne med Selma!!!
(Selecting the winner process was maybe not the most professional one, but definetely fair. I counted all the votes and then asked my husband to pick a number between 1 and 86 (total was 86 votes after counting out all the doubles). He picked 35 - had no clue why - and we had the lucky winner!!! )
Concratulations Sussie!

And the other winner is the image Nr Three, arrangement in an old gravy pot (yes Lisa, you guessed right) got most votes (35).
Nr One, arrangement below was popular as well (30 votes).
NrTwo and NrFour share the third place (9 votes each).
Two of you liked Nr Six and one Nr Five.

I'm so glad that so many of you and from all over the world took time to vote! I loved reading your motivations and thoughts about the pictures. Thank you also for all the kind words, knowing that someone out there appreciates my work makes it worth while.

A big hug and see you soon again!

I'm still not totally satisfied with the frame thats why you see only part of it : )))
Sorry if any incovenience but I have to change the date of annoncing the winner. I mixed the dates and won't be home until Friday the 30th. I'll draw the winner then, at noon.
Again, best of luck!

Koti ja keittiö

A Finnish interior design magazine Koti ja Keittiö (Home and Kitchen) visited us last summer. The result of this two day, really cosy and fun, visit can be seen in their August Issue.

Lots of pictures and lots of Finnish words :)))

Sorry to say, I haven't seen the magazine for sale other than in Finland. Let me know if you're interested to order a copy, (mail minnaatblomsterverkstad.com) I could try to organize something. Price 8 Euros plus postal fee from Finland to your country.

Regards,

Minna : )

Vote for your favourite

Wanted to show you how much you can do by changing the pot. The arrangement is made in the little metall pot (top image) that I've moved around. Material dried roses and oh god, I still don't know what fläder is in English (can somebody help me out, pleeeease). Well, the raw berries of fläder : ) and wet oasis on the bottom.
(Thank you M/Whita Villan, the word I was looking for is Elderflower)

Vote for your favourite and you can win a print of the image below in handmade frame (picture will be shown shortly).

The winner will be announced on Wednesday 27th of August at noon.
Best of luck and a big hug!

Greenroom under construction

Dearest Friends! It's good to back in bloggland! I've had the most wonderful vacation together with friends and family. It was soooo good to spend time with my dear sister (who lives in Australia - haven't seen her for two years), her husband and Elmer's little cousin who was born in December. And our parents of course. And good old friends in Finland. It's been cosy yet bit lively : ))) Being back to normal routines isn't bad at all..

I've been dreaming of a new green house for a long time now and as you can see the project has started. My superhandy and supernice brother in law took down the old one and after a couple of days he had built a new frame and put in old windows that I've been saving (my dear husband wanted to throw them away...) for this purpose. The glas is old and you can see the texture in one of the close ups.

Lots of workhours remains before the green house is ready - and I'm looking forward to every minute of it!

As I said, it's good to be back, I've missed you!

Love, Minna : )

Blomsterverkstad goes to vacation

I'll be away for a couple of weeks! Take care and enjoy summer! In the picture you can see my summer wreath made with flowers from my garden.

A big hug,
Minna :)

Rosy dreams from my garden

Another rose arrangement por favor! This time I used roses from garden, one of them is 'New dawn', fläder/hylleblomst/seljas flower, some weeds I found and small apples. As you can see I've used green wet oasis to build the arrangement on.

Have a really good week out there! And remember to sit down and enjoy summer!
